Impressions and Planning

Step 2
If you and our dentist agree to proceed with ClearCorrect treatment, we will begin by creating an impression of your bite. We will reference this model as we create a personalized plan for you. Then, we will send your impressions and our dentist’s blueprints to a trusted ClearCorrect lab.

Aligner Creation

Step 3
ClearCorrect will reference the impressions of your smile and our dentist’s treatment plan to fabricate your custom-fitted aligners. This process usually takes a few weeks.

Wearing the Aligners

Step 4
Once you receive your clear aligners, it will be time to begin your treatment. To experience the best results, you will have to wear your aligners for at least 22 hours a day, only removing them when you are cleaning your teeth, eating, or drinking. You will switch to a new set of aligners about every two weeks. Our dentist will schedule periodic checkups at our Knoxville office so he can monitor your progress.
